Compact Disc (CD) + Digital Album

My 2017 EP "EVERYDAY LIES" 5 track EP is about rising above the everyday lies.
The lies you tell yourself about what people think of you.
The lies others tell to put themselves ahead of you.
The lies the world runs on,
That what you need is wealth but you get put into debt,
That what you crave are things when all they do is make you feel more alone.
These lies are what separate people, and make them compete.
Even in music, people lie about what they want,
By making music to please others, when it's not what they want to play.
It's always about money and wealth, which are meant to define success or failure.
However, I think that success comes from your own happiness and strength to do whatever the hell you want,
And find others who like that, who like you for who you are.
Not what you put on as a facade to please strangers,
Because at the end of the day, you have to please yourself ... otherwise you'll never be happy.
In music, in love, in life you need to be honest, with others but also with yourself.
In a sense we are all living this lie, this filtered, processed,
Modified social media perfected version of ourselves in which we put in all of the good and leave out the bad.
We spend our day on our phones, computers, apps, hanging out with friends online,
While missing out and being absent in real life.
We crave things we don't have and always want more.
So rise above the everyday lies you tell yourself and love what you have,
Love your friends and family, and be who you want to be, and learn to love who you really are.

about

"Lack Of Blue" is a song I wrote when I was being told that I needed to make full on Pop to be successful, but in my mind being successful isn't making loads of money, it's finding a way to do the thing you love. So this one is out to whoever tells you that "choices you will make will define
Wether you shatter or shine" because in the end they can't be all that successful either "Don't you say that you're better than me, first I need some proof there, honey"

lyrics

I was out walking one day
With a smile on my face though the sky is so gray
Thank you London for the lack of blue
And i'm taking my time
Cause I followed my friends and went drinking last night
Although that's a rare occasion too,

Cause I don't really think
That poisoning my brains a good idea for me
I like fun but there are limits

There are things I don't do
Like following fools who think they're better than you
Because they're considered cool

I know we're young I know we're free
I guess I'm different but I just don't see the point
In making money over being me
That's all I know

who are you kidding
You're not winning
Following gets you addicted to a feeling, that you're strong and that you have something you believe in
But you get up and say

Don't you think you're done wasting our time
You better make up your mind
choices you will make they will define
Wether you shatter or shine

I say wake up to reality
Because you don't make sense now
Don't you say that you're better than me
First I need some proof there hmm honey

How can you be so sure
The life that I have ain't as good as yours,
Come on you're being biased now
You know I really hate
When you shut down ideas and the music I create
But you can't bring me down

I know you're tough, I know you're mean
You think you're clever but you just don't seem
To know the way it works and that just makes you feel
So disappointed

who are you kidding
You're not winning
Following gets you addicted to a feeling, that you're strong and that you have something you believe in
But You get up and say

Don't you think you're done wasting our time
You better make up your mind
Choices you will make they will define
Wether you shatter or shine

I say wake up to reality
Because you don't make sense now
Don't you say that you're better than me
First I need some proof there hmm honey

I was out walking one day
With a smile on my face it's a beautiful day
Thank you London for the view
And I'm taking my time
Enjoying the world because it's sunny outside
But that's a rare occasion too
